How they Work:
Flocculated sludge is fed to the rotary drum where liquid drains through the drum screen onto a collection basin, while solids advance to the outlet through two or more filtering stages by means of drum rotation and helicoidally arranged blades. A jet wash system keeps the screen openings clean. Residence time is controlled by variable drum speed rotation and positioning of the helicoid blades.
Sludge volumes are reduced by up to 90%, with a capture rate of up to 98%.

Applications
Municipal or Industrial applications where sludge with low solids concentrations requires thickening.
